The most beautiful surprise prepared for Toša by a mysterious girl.

Toše Proeski, a famous Macedonian singer who united the entire Balkans with his art after the war, was known for his beautiful love lyrics. Although he had many female admirers of all ages, he was not of a romantic nature and did not engage in romantic relationships with them. He wanted his love life to be private, so only two of his loves are known to the public - Blagica and Andrijana.

When asked about his love life, he often used to say that he likes it when girls surprise him in a relationship. The most beautiful surprise for him was prepared by a girl unknown to the public.

After spending the night at Toša's place, she woke up much before him. She wrote motivational verses, short messages, wishes, quotes on lots of colorful sticky notes... She pasted some on the walls, and hid some in his shirt pockets, jackets, pants and all kinds of other places where it wouldn't be expected.

When Toše woke up, he saw the entire wall of his room plastered with papers. At first he was surprised, but when he realized that there were beautiful love messages on them, he was very happy. He was even more amazed when he started finding them all over the apartment! And the funniest thing was when he accidentally started finding stickers with nice messages in his pants pockets, even in his shoes...

And after the two of them broke up, Toše used to find some "post it" in his things. Motivational quotes that he would come across by chance brought a smile to his face during gloomy days. And that small gesture made him happy for a long time. That was one of his nicest surprises...

The nicest surprise

- I want you already! – the biggest humanitarian among the stars.

Toše Proeski, a singer with an angelic voice, has become the favorite of the entire region in his twenty-six years of life. He built his career not only with unforgettable songs, but also with his personality. Although he had a large number of fans and although he won prestigious awards for his works, he remained modest. He respected his fans by always saying that if it wasn't for them, there wouldn't be him either. He always selflessly gave them autographs, took photos with them and would give everyone a piece of his time.

Generosity and generosity were qualities that were always associated with Toša. Fans have been throwing teddy bears at him since his teenage performances. What was special about Toša was that the teddy bears did not end up in the trash like other stars. Toša's whole team backstage found it funny that he always asked to collect all the stuffed toys that ended up on the stage during the concerts.

He collected teddy bears in his birthplace in Kruševo and had a special room there just for them. His obsession with stuffed animals was comical to everyone, until they found out that Toše collects toys so that he can later take them to the orphanage.

Children had a special place in Toša's heart. He performed at countless humanitarian concerts, and he organized many of them himself. He held his last big concert on October 5 at the City Stadium in Skopje, and all the income from the concert was intended for the renovation of Macedonian schools. The duet "I love your smile" that he performed together with Antonija Šola was intended for a campaign that taught children the importance of oral hygiene. The organizers were surprised that he refused to receive a fee for it.

He also financed the renovation of the Clinic for Children's Diseases in Skopje, and he gave money to many people for treatment, without media coverage. His song "This world" became the UNICEF anthem. In 2003, he received the Mother Teresa award for his humanitarian work. In Kruševo, he began the renovation of the local monastery where he found peace of mind throughout his life. After Toša's untimely death, his parents established a fund in Toša's honor through which they continued to help people.

Toše is now a star in the endless starry sky.

Toša has been interested in music since childhood. This love was passed on to him by his parents, Nikola and Domenika. Whenever he came home from school, he would find them playing and singing with the company. At school, he played the clarinet, piano and guitar, and also learned the saxophone and kaval. He entered the Skopje Academy of Music, and he was only two exams away from graduating. He was looking forward to his graduation concert, which he was supposed to hold in the spring of 2008.
 
He had his first performance at the age of ten. With them, he delighted everyone present by singing the song "Ave Maria" perfectly. At the age of fifteen, he participated in the Makfest festival, after which he was noticed by manager Grigor Koprev, with whom he began working together. He publishes the songs "Lip on the lips" and "Your sun in golden hair" that delight the Macedonian audience and launch him among the stars. In 1999, he released his debut album "Somewhere in the Night", and just three years later he started touring all the Balkan countries. He also performed at the Eurovision Song Contest in Turkey with the song "Life". That year, many Macedonian artists gave up their candidacy for the Eurovision Song Contest, knowing that Toše would surely beat them.

He became popular in Croatia after he recorded the duet Lagala nas mala with Toni Cetinski. Not long after that, he released an album in the Croatian language and became a favorite of the audience. He wins the award of the Croatian Radio Festival, making him the only singer of non-Croatian origin to receive this award.

After Toša's tragic death, the musical event "Starry Sky" is held every year in his honor in Skopje. It was inspired by Toša's last concert held on October 5, 2007 in Skopje. Namely, at that time, Toša really liked that the audience spontaneously started turning on mobile phones and blowing them up during his ballads. He told them: - Turn on the phones, recreate the starry sky, I can't describe to you what it looks like from the scene... May the starry sky never go out... This is indescribable! - Toše is now a part of the starry sky, and in honor of Toša, the audience creates a starry sky every year, hoping that he can now see it even better.
