About the significant works of the talented curator, and then the director.
This ambitious lady was the first professional curator from Varaždin! Later, she even became the director, and she assumed her position as the director of the Varaždin City Museum in 1957, succeeding one of the founders of that institution, Krešimir Filić (1891 – 1972).
She remained in the position of director of the City Museum until her retirement in 1973, and in her work she implemented the systematic processing of the holdings according to the modern principles of the museum profession.
Some of her works are: "Clothes and small household inventory in Varaždin during the 16th century" (1967), "Secession architecture in Varaždin" (1974), "A few words about Varaždin's city tower" (1974), "Urbanism , construction, culture" (1999) and others.
A commemorative plaque was even erected to this inspiring woman. The memorial plaque is located in Draškovićeva street, on the front of the house where Mira lived, and the plaque was placed by the Brotherhood of the Croatian Dragon.
