How did Mira contribute to the Varaždin city museum?
Prof. Ilijanić was the first professional museum woman from Varaždin. Why? Prof. Mira started the systematic processing of the Varaždin museum fund according to the principles of the profession.
That was not enough for her, so she improved her professional work in the Museum in other areas as well. That's how she started with a well-thought-out policy of purchasing museum materials. She also acquired professional literature and arranged the exhibition space and depot.
She actively participated in the work of the Varaždin branch of the Museum Society of Croatia, and collaborated with numerous related institutions and experts abroad, especially with those from Slovenia, Austria and Hungary.
