How did the cultural life of Varaždin grow?
What can certainly be counted among the most important and greatest achievements of Krešimir Filić is the establishment of a museum in Varaždin. He worked on it for several years, together with his colleagues. On November 16, 1925, it finally came true.
The Varaždin City Museum was officially opened in the Old Town fortress. Since then, the museum has been working non-stop. How could he not, when Krešimir invested all his strength in him. He dedicatedly collected donations from the citizens of Varaždin.
Together with other members of the Varaždin Museum Society, Krešimir created and exhibited the first museum collection. This act established the work of the Museum, which continues to educate and delight the residents of Varaždin, as well as all visitors, with its exhibitions.
