Boris-Karlo was the second child in the family of shoemaker Pavle and housewife Anđela, née Jurinjak. He grew up with his older sister Helena.
He finished elementary school in Zagreb, after which he enrolled and completed courses for a professional driver. He was employed at Poljoopsprba.
He is remembered as a sociable person, always ready to help in times of need. He liked to plan, so he was a member of the mountaineering society "Runolist". With his wife Ana, née Galić, he had a daughter, Helena.
At the beginning of the war, he joined the defense of the Motherland. He was a member of the 204th Vukovar Brigade, with which he defended Vukovar on the front line. He was captured, forcibly taken away and killed on October 12, 1991. He was posthumously awarded the Order of Petr Zrinski and Fran Krsta Frankopan and the Memorial of the Homeland War.
