The life of Barica Kovacec
Barica was born there some time ago in 1940 in the town of Slavetic (Jastrebarsko). She was the middle child of Matija and Mara (Marica) Dragozet. The older sister was Jagica and the younger Ankica. Life drove them all into the world in search of bread. Jagica went to Zagreb with her and Barica, while Ankica went with her husband Josip to Germany, where she died at the age of 22. Sister Jagica died in Zagreb at the age of 62. Barica lived the longest, but she died at the age of 82 (significantly or not). 2022). She left behind five living children (Karmela, Željko, Mirjana, Nedeljko and Dijana). Life did not care for her and unfortunately neither did the children.
