We can say that Ivan Horvat was a successful man. He was a husband, father and grandfather of four grandchildren. All his life he was in love with his beautiful wife Jelena, for whom not a moment of the day goes by without thinking of him.
But in addition to being a successful family man, Ivan, secretly, forever remained a bit of a mangup. Along with his family, which was everything in the world to him, Ivan loved his Tomos the most! That engine was a real joy for him. He loved the speed and the feeling of the wind in his hair. He would tirelessly ride it all over the neighborhood. But driving was not Ivan's only hobby.
His third love was the guitar. Ivan would often sit in the yard, in the shade under an old walnut tree. He would listen to the rustling of leaves, the singing of birds, look into the distance and enjoy the peace and tranquility. Ivan liked to have fun with his guitar and would sing his favorite songs with it. Even when he was alone, when he was at parties, when he was happy or sad, Ivan always sang a song!
We often think about how nice it would be if our grandfather Ivan met his cheerful great-grandchildren. He would surely recognize something of himself in them. His jokes, his voice and his songs are still remembered by his family today. With sadness in my heart, but also happiness, because he was once a part of our lives...
