Cartoons about my dear Taurus

Stories that make memories of my grandmother

This could not be called a specific story, but memories of my Taurus that may not be related but accurately describe her.

I will always remember our moments spent in the greenhouse on winter mornings. First, they would have breakfast \\\"milk, coffee and blood\\\" and then go to the greenhouse to turn on the heater and clean Swiss chard or some other vegetable and talk about everything - school, deeper topics, the weather, just about everything. Wrapped in her \\\"ovčica\\\" (a warm vest made of sheep's wool), I enjoyed every moment.

She gave the best advice ever for every possible problem.

She really liked to joke and make up little pranks, after which she would have her characteristic laugh.

All my assignments and those of my relatives were written with the help of her knowledge and patience. It's incredible how much she remembered math and Croatian, and she went to high school several dozen years ago. I remember Uvik saying that she wanted to study pedagogy or psychology, but she didn't have the opportunity. Instead, she dealt with flowers, vegetables and fruits, which she usually picked for others.

In her free time, apart from her grandchildren and friends, she liked to spend it solving crossword puzzles and Sudoku from Slobodna Dalmacija, with her cigarette and the obligatory cup of coffee. Once I had to write a haiku for homework, so after that she loved writing haiku poems about the old days.

In addition to top quality cakes and tarts, she also made excellent savory dishes. Pizzas, warm sandwiches, manistra na pome and manistra na tacvice will never taste the same again.

If someone told her a secret, she wouldn't tell anyone, and half the village trusted her. Uvik was wonderful to everyone, even those who would wish her harm. She knew how to be a lady when she shouldn't be and play everything wisely and with dignity.

When she would come from Zagreb, she would always comment that I don't look thin, because my cheeks look puffy, but that regardless of that I look beautiful. Uvik would call me my love because she would get confused by the names of her grandchildren, of which there are many.

She taught me a lot of values in life, respect and love for animals, plants and other people. She was the biggest conspiracy theorist and I loved that.

She loved listening to the radio - from news and humorous songs, to dramatic texts and opera.

She knew something about every topic, so she could always participate in the conversation depending on the other's interests.

Uvik was angry with Dido when he drank cola and Uvik joked with each other. If a man listened to them, he would not know that they were married, but in fact they loved each other endlessly.

When she went to the store, she would always get ready, take her bag and chewing gum and walk, even in the sun, to cook us lunch. The sight of her walking along the road with a smile on her face will always remain in my memory.

When I was in pain, she would take out her God's pharmacy (book) and give recipes for teas or baths. She used to be able to heal what even doctors couldn't.

Due to hard physical work, she walked hunched over for many years, but she was a person who did not like to complain and who wanted to be a burden to others.

Uvik had one or more cats and she had her own special communication with them, and they would understand everything.

Her last message to me was \\\"Kiss and love ♥️\\\" and that is exactly the sentence that describes her and her character.

From this you can see why she was a great grandmother to me, but only after her death, I saw how great a woman and person she was and how much everyone loved and respected her immensely.
